La Baracca was founded by a young couple; Franco, Italian born in Florence, a passionate of traditional cuisine and good wine, and Tatiana, born in Colombia who at a very young age moved to Italy, which she now considers her second home. Together they work with passion making simple but tasty dishes. After a 4-year experience working as a manager for an Italian restaurant in the Japanese capital Tokyo, Franco and his family moves to Copenhagen aiming to bring a bit of Italy to Denmark.
Why should you come to La Baracca: Here you can taste one of the symbols of Italian cuisine… pasta!. We produce egg pasta daily which is then topped with our sauces prepared with fresh ingredients and without preservatives. Furthermore, every week apart from our lovely pasta, we make special dishes offering you a variety of Italian specialities. Try also our ‘apperitivo’ with cold cuts and cheese from different Italian regions, accompanied by our homemade bread and focaccia. Our cook Franco is also a sommelier. who personally chooses and imports wine from Tuscany and other Italian regions to recommend you the best matching option to your dishes. Italian Beer, drinks and our legendary tiramisú, the famous Italian dessert!!
